From Dream to Reality: The full Class as of this Brooklyn Charter School Is likely to College

Kiara Damon started wondering about college when she entered fifth grade at Williamsburg Collegiate Middle School, a Brooklyn charter school run via the Uncommon Schools network.

“It was always college, college, college,” Kiara said. “We were always the class of 2021, not the category of 2017.”

Kira was one of 87 graduating seniors from Uncommon Charter High School in Bedford-Stuyvesant who taken part in an excellent signing day event a few weeks ago created to celebrate the educational achievements in the Class of 2017.
